Duckworth Opens Senate Constituent Service Office in Belleville, Hosts Open House for Illinois Constituents
[BELLEVILLE, IL] — U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) cut the ribbon on her new Senate constituent service office in Belleville today, located at 23 Public Square, Suite 460. The Senator also hosted an open house today to launch the new office and give community members an opportunity to meet constituent service representatives who will be working in the area. Duckworth’s Belleville Office will provide a number of services to Illinoisans that include assistance with Veterans benefits, Social Security, Medicare, small business development and other issues involving federal agencies. “I’m opening this office in Belleville because I want the hardworking people in the Metro East to know that being accessible and addressing their concerns is a priority of mine,” Duckworth said. “My new Belleville Constituent Service office will give more families in the area access to a convenient and welcoming place for assistance with federal agencies and getting help securing the benefits they are entitled to. I was proud to join my staff today in meeting community members and letting them know how we can assist them. We look forward to helping as many constituents as possible and to being a resource for the region.”
Duckworth’s Belleville Office, which can be can be reached by phone at (618) 722-7070, will help ensure hardworking families across the Metro East region can easily and efficiently take advantage of the constituent services offered by the Senator and her staff. The Senator’s constituent service representatives are also available to assist Veterans regardless of their residence. Duckworth has five offices in Illinois, including Chicago, Springfield, Carbondale, Rock Island and now Belleville.
