On Veterans Day, Duckworth Honored with Pritzker Military Museum and Library’s Founder’s Award
Combat Veteran and U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), a member of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee who served in the Reserve Forces for 23 years, was awarded the Pritzker Military Museum and Library’s Founder’s Award in recognition of her service as an Iraq War Veteran, Purple Heart recipient and an advocate for Veterans and working families. In accepting the award, Duckworth emphasized of courage of our American heroes and every American’s duty to recognize their service by honoring them year-round.
