Senators Duckworth and Durbin announce public housing funding

U.S. Senators Tammy Duckworth and Dick Durbin announced $21,084,252 in federal funding today.
The funding is through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Public Housing Capital Fund to help public housing authorities throughout central Illinois.
According to the announcement, all the following public housing authorities will receive funds:
Peoria Housing Authority: $2,632,932
Franklin County Housing Authority: $1,744,779
Springfield Housing Authority: $1,743,075
Decatur Housing Authority: $1,474,747
Bloomington Housing Authority: $1,401,725
Danville Housing Authority: $1,282,634
Morgan County Housing Authority: $1,053,582
Quincy Housing Authority: $1,022,777
Macoupin County Housing Authority: $976,920
Fulton County Housing Authority: $749,639
McDonough County Housing Authority: $709,406
DeWitt County Housing Authority: $578,429
