COVID-19 Vaccine Information for Illinois Residents
Am I eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine? Currently, all Illinoisans 12+ are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. You may find up-to-date information on vaccine-eligible populations and to find your nearest vaccine location, click?here. Illinoisans can also call (833) 621-1284 to schedule a vaccine appointment.
Where can I get my vaccine when I am eligible? For those who are eligible, you may check for vaccination availability through the Illinois Department of Public Health here. To learn more about local vaccine distribution, visit your county’s health department website. Please note that with limited vaccine supply, no walk in appointments are available at this time.

COVID-19 Masking Guidance
On May 16, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) provided updated guidance for individuals who have been fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance. For Illinois residents, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has announced that Illinois will align state executive orders with the latest CDC guidance and rescind IDPH emergency rules enforcing masking and distance. You can find more information here.
For small business owners: To learn more about resources available to small business owners, including the Paycheck Protection Program, grants, loans, debt relief programs as well as help for farmers, click here.
For Illinoisans who have been laid off or are unemployed: Click here to apply for unemployment insurance in Illinois. More information on COVID-19 related unemployment benefits is available here.
For all Illinois residents: To learn more about resources available to all Illinoisans during COVID-19 including healthcare resources, rental relief, emergency paid leave, student loan relief and more, click here. If you feel sick or believe you may have COVID-19, call your healthcare provider for medical advice. Stay home and away from others.
